Rep. Mazzochi Tours DuPage COVID Testing Site

State Representative Deanne Mazzochi, along with other local officials did a “tour” of the soon-to-be-open public COVID-19 testing facility established by DuPage County.

The testing site at the DuPage County fairgrounds in Wheaton is expected to begin operating on June 16th. The drive through site will be accessed through the main entrance of the county government complex off County Farm Road.

Residents of DuPage County, the state’s second most populous county, do not need an appointment, doctor referral, or insurance to receive the free test. The county site has the capacity to conduct 400 tests a day. It will operate from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, or as long as daily capacity lasts.

Tests will be self administered, but the site will operate with paid staff and volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, you can sign up on the county’s website: https://www.dupagehealth.org/633/Covid19-Volunteer.
